ભારત સ્થિત અમેરિકી એમ્બેસીએ એવી જાહેરાત કરી છે કે તા.16મી માર્ચ 2020થી લાગુ થાય તે રીતે અમેરીકન વીઝા માટે ભારતમાં આપવામાં આવેલી તમામે તમામ એપોઇન્ટમેન્ટસ અચોક્કસ મુદત માટે રદ કરવામાં આવી છે. જે ભારતીય નાગરીકોને તા.16મી માર્ચથી એપોઇન્ટમેન્ટસ આપવામાં આવી છે તેમણે મુંબઇ, દિલ્હી તેમજ અન્ય અમેરીકન એમ્બેસી ખાતેની કચેરી પર નહીં જવા માટે સૂચના આપવામાં આવી છે.

અચોક્કસ મુદત માટે વીઝાની તમામ પ્રોસીજર બંધ કરવામાં આવી છે. લાગતાવળગતા અરજદારોને ભવિષ્યમાં કામગીરી યથાવત થયેથી વધુ જાણકારી તેમના સત્તાવાર ઇમેલ પર કે એજન્ટસ થકી પહોંચાડવામાં આવશે.

Coronavirus: US Embassy, Consulates in India cancel all visa appointments

The US Embassy and Consulates in India have cancelled all visa appointments from March 16 in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

US President Donald Trump on Friday officially declared a national emergency that he said would give states and territories access to up to $50 billion in federal funds to combat coronavirus.

A statement issued by the US Embassy here said, “US Mission India posts, in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, are cancelling immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments from March 16, 2020, onward.”

“Your visa appointment stands as cancelled. Once Mission India resumes regular consular operations, appointments will be made available and you will be able to reschedule,” it said.
