SCWO felicitate and encourage the Sports Students

The ‘Sports Person Of the Year 2016-17’ award and a scholarship of Rs.31,000/- was bagged by Xena Raja. 56 more students were given scholarships as ‘Promising Sports Persons of the Year 2017-18’, up to Rs.11000/-. It was indeed a great morning where many students were inspired and motivated to make Sports an essential part of their daily lives.

Surat Children Welfare Organization is an Autonomous Body, which works for the welfare of the children of the city. This year, the SCWO decided to felicitate and encourage the Sports Person of the Year 2017-18 with exemplary achievement in any area of Sports and Games, on 13 August 2018. Sports, is an integral part of everyone’s life. It is imperative for the physical and the emotional well being of the individual. The SCWO has always supported Delhi Public School Surat in their philosophy of holistic education and personality grooming.

SCWO started this initiative in the year 2013-14 and they have continued the trend and given away scholarships to the meritorious Sports persons. The benevolent dignitaries who graced the occasion were the Founder Members of the SCWO, Mr. ShreyansGoyal, Mr. Manoj Bhatia, Mr. Kishore Gagnani, Mr. AlokKhandelwal. Mr. Deepak Bedia, Mr. Nihar Doctor, Mr. NazirVali, Mr. VipulJagirdar and Mr. AnkurMarfatia.

દિલ્હી પબ્લિક સ્કૂલ સુરત ખાતે થયું ‘સ્પોર્ટ્સ પર્સન ઓફ ધ યર‘નું આયોજન

સુરત :‘સ્પોર્ટ્સ પર્સન ઓફ ધ યર 2016-17’ અને રૂપિયા 31,000ની શિષ્યવૃત્તિ ઝેના રાજાએ મેળવી હતી. અન્ય 56 વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પણ ‘પ્રોમીસિંગ સ્પોર્ટ્સ પર્સન ઓફ ધ યર 2017-18’ના રૂપમાં રૂપિયા 11,000 સુધીની સ્કોલરશિપ આપવામાં આવી હતી. આ ખરેખર એક ખુશનુમા સવાર હતી, જ્યાં ઘણા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ રમતને તેમના રોજીંદા જીવનનો અનિવાર્ય ભાગ બનાવવા માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત અને પ્રેરિત હતા.

સુરત ચિલ્ડ્રન વેલ્ફર ઓર્ગેનાઇઝેશન એ એક સ્વાયત સંસ્થા છે, જે શહેરના બાળકોની સુખાકારી માટે કાર્ય કરે છે. આ વર્ષે, સંસ્થા દ્વારા કોઇ પણ રમતમાં ઉદાહરણીય સિદ્ધિ મેળવી હોય તેઓને 13 ઓગષ્ટ,2018ના રોજ ‘સ્પોર્ટ્સ પર્સન ઓફ ધ યર 2017-18’થી સમ્માનિત અને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવાનું નક્કી કરવામાં આવ્યું. રમત એ દરેકના જીવનનો અવિભાજ્ય ભાગ છે. તે વ્યક્તિની શારીરિક અને ભાવનાત્મક સુખાકારી માટે જરૂરી છે. સંસ્થા હંમેશા દિલ્હી પબ્લિક સ્કૂલ સુરતને તેમના સાકલ્યવાદી શિક્ષણ અને વ્યક્તિત્વ નિખારને સમર્થન આપે છે.

સુરત ચિલ્ડ્રન વેલ્ફર ઓર્ગેનાઇઝેશન (એસસીડબ્લ્યુ) દ્વારા વર્ષ 2013-14માં આ પહેલ શરૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી અને તેમણે આ પ્રવાહને અવિરત રાખ્યો છે અને તેજસ્વી રમત વીરોને સ્કોલરશિપ આપતી રહે છે. આ પ્રસંગે ઉપસ્થિત રહેલા ઉમદા મહાનુભાવોમાં સુરત ચિલ્ડ્રન વેલ્ફર ઓર્ગેનાઇઝેશનના સ્થાપક સભ્યો શ્રી શ્રેયાંશ ગોયલ, શ્રી મનોજ ભાટિયા, શ્રી કિશોર ગગનાની, શ્રી આલોક ખંડેલવાલ, શ્રી દિપક બેડિયા, શ્રી નિહાર ડોક્ટર, શ્રી નાઝીર વલી, શ્રી વિપુલ જાગીરદાર અને શ્રી અંકુર મારફતિયાનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
