JEE Adv. છેક 23 ઓગસ્ટે લેવાશે : IIT-NIT-IIIT અભ્યાસમાં અતિશય વિલંબ નિશ્ચિત

દેશના શિક્ષણ મંત્રી રમેશચંદ્ર પોખરીયાલે આજે તા.7મી મે ના રોજ એવી ઘોષણા કરી હતી કે આઇ.આઇ.ટી.માં પ્રવેશ માટે લેવામાં આવતી જેઇઇ એડવાન્સ્ડ 2020 પરીક્ષા હવે તા.23મી ઓગસ્ટ 2020ના રોજ લેવામાં આવશે. સ્વાભાવિક છે કે પરીક્ષા લેટ લેવાની હોવાથી હવે આઇ.આઇ.ટી.માં અભ્યાસ આ વર્ષે અતિશય વિલંબથી શરૂ થશે.

આઇ.આઇ.ટી.માં પ્રવેશ માટે જેઇઇ મેઇન્સમાં દેશના ટોચના 2.40 લાખ વિદ્યાર્થીઓની જેઇઇ એડવાન્સ્ડ પરીક્ષા લેવામાં આવે છે. સૌથી પ્રથમ આઇ.આઇ.ટી.માં પ્રવેશ ફાળવવામાં આવે છે, એ પછી એન.આઇ.ટી., ત્રિપલઆઇટી વગેરેમાં પ્રવેશ ફાળવવામાં આવશે.

23મી ઓગસ્ટ 2020ના રોજ જેઇઇ એડવાન્સ્ડ પરીક્ષા લેવાશે એનો સીધો મતલબ કે પરીક્ષાના પંદરથી વીસ દિવસ બાદ તેનું પરીણામ જાહેર થશે અને એ પછી જોસા (જોઇન્ટ સીટ એલોકેશન ઓથોરિટી) દ્વારા પ્રવેશ પ્રક્રીયા હાથ ધરવામાં આવે છે. આમ સપ્ટેમ્બરના અંતિમ સપ્તાહમાં પ્રવેશ કાર્યવાહી હાથ ધરાશે એવો અંદાજ હાલ બંધાઇ રહ્યો છે.

JEE Advanced 2020 to be conducted on August 23

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) for admission to IITs will be conducted on August 23, HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on Thursday.

The exam was scheduled to be held on May 17 but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. JEE Advanced is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate programmes at IITs. This year, IIT Delhi is organising the exam.

The HRD minister on Tuesday announced that the engineering entrance examination, JEE (Main), will be held from July 18-23 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET-UG) for admission to medical colleges will be conducted on July 26. These exams were also postponed due to the nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the COVID-19 spread.
