The 21st International Conference of MANLIBNET, themed ‘Empowering Libraries, Connecting Communities: Innovation, Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship’ held at IMT Ghaziabad Campus during 5th– 7th October, 2023.

The conference proceedings, having 93 original research papers, were released by Ms. Amy Memon, Chief Guest of the inaugural session.

It was a great honour that Dr. Meeta Rathod V., Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Sarvajanik University, and one of the editors of the book has been felicitated by Dr. Vishal Talwar, Director – IMT Ghaziabad.

The inaugural session of the event had more than 200 attendees, including professionals in library and information science, research scholars, and publishers, among others. 

 Ms. Amy Memon, the Regional Head of South Asia for AACSB, served as the Chief Guest for the event. Fr. Dr. K.S. Casimir, the Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR, delivered the keynote speech, discussing the evolving role of libraries. Dr. Vishal Talwar, Director, IMT Ghaziabad,  stressed the importance of shaping the future of libraries and, consequently, the future of humanity. 

Dr. M.G. Sreekumar, Director of Libraries, Jio Institute and President, MANLIBNET, provided the conference attendees with a comprehensive overview of the different themes and sub-themes addressed during the event. On a similar note, Dr. Akhtar Parvez, University Librarian, MANUU and, General Secretary, MANLIBNET, informed the audience about the array of activities conducted by the Management Libraries Network.

Besides seventy-five paper presentations, two panel discussions and eight plenary talks were delivered during the 3-day conference.

The MANLIBNET-3B Best Paper Award was jointly awarded to the Mr. Altaf Ali and Mr. Tiplut Wann. IMT is thankful to MANLIBNET for such a wonderful & impactful conference.
