Helping Hands Youngster Siddhant Shah’s Unique Idea to Lower Income Communities
Siddhant Shah of Surat donates recycled hydroponic towers, providing low-income communities with a reliable and sustainable way to earn a passive income and secure lasting financial stability.

Siddhant Shah, a student at Bhagwan Mahavir International School, designs efficient, low-cost hydroponic towers using recycled materials for marginalized communities. These units utilize minimal space and water while generating a steady income for households.
Siddhant’s journey began in 2022 when underprivileged students from a nearby high school sought his help due to their families’ financial struggles. Realizing one-time donations were only short-term relief, he set out to create sustainable, community-driven solutions. Over the course of two years, he transformed a backyard experiment into a thriving social initiative that continues to grow.
From 2022 to 2025, Siddhant’s initiative evolved from simple planters to advanced hydroponic towers, delivering 200 units to underserved families and collectively enabling them to earn ₹37 lakhs. He aims to grow AeroLands to over 500 households and scale its impact nationwide.
“We must address the economic challenges marginalized communities face and commit to reducing inequality. Our focus is self-reliance, not temporary aid. I urge action—partner, donate, or spread the word—to foster sustained, positive change,” said Siddhant Shah.
