નેશનલ ટેસ્ટિંગ એજન્સી દ્વારા આગામી માર્ચ 2021માં લેવામાં આવનારી જેઇઇ મેઇન રાષ્ટ્રવ્યાપી ઓનલાઇન ઇજનેરી એન્ટ્રન્સ એકઝામ માટે ઓનલાઇન એપ્લિકેશન પ્રોસેસ શરૂ કરવામાં આવી છે. ધો.12 સાયન્સ મેથ્સ ગ્રુપમાં હાલમાં અભ્યાસ કરી રહેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ જો આ પરીક્ષા આપવા માગતા હોય તો તેમણે સત્વરે પોતાની એપ્લિકેશન સબમિટ કરી દેવી જોઇએ.
જેઇઇ મેઇન્સ 2021ના વર્ષથી વર્ષમાં 4 વખત લેવામાં આવશે. ફેબ્રુઆરી 2021ની પરીક્ષા પૂર્ણ થઇ ચૂકી છે. હવે માર્ચમાં તા.15, 16, 17 અને 18 માર્ચ 2021ના રોજ મેઇન્સ -2 લેવામાં આવશે. એ પછી એપ્રિલ અને મે એમ વધુ બે ચાન્સ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પાસે બાકી રહેશે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ચારમાંથી ગમે તેટલી પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે અને જે બેસ્ટ સ્કોર હશે તેના આધારે વિદ્યાર્થીઓનું મેરીટ ગણવામાં આવશે.

ધો.12 સાયન્સ મેથેમેટિક્સ ગ્રુપ પછી IIT/NIT/IIIT માં પ્રવેશ માટેની રાષ્ટ્રવ્યાપી પરીક્ષા જેઇઇ મેઇન્સ 1 આજરોજ તા.24મી ફેબ્રુઆરીથી શરૂ થઇ છે. આ પરીક્ષા 26મી ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધી દેશભરમાં ઓનલાઇન લેવામાં આવશે. આ વર્ષથી JEE Main પરીક્ષા ફેબ્રુઆરી, માર્ચ, એપ્રિલ અને મે એમ ચાર વખત લેવામાં આવશે અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ગમે તેટલી વખત આ પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે. જે પરીક્ષાને બેસ્ટ સ્કોર હશે તે ગણતરીમાં લેવામાં આવશે.
The JEE Main B.Tech examination for admission to engineering colleges has commenced from today.
The JEE Main February 2021 session started yesterday with B.Arch and B.Planning papers. Students who appeared for the JEE Main BArch paper on Tuesday said the exam was of moderate difficulty.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main exams in 13 Indian languages, including – Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati languages, besides English and Hindi. For the first time, students have got an opportunity to appear for exams in 13 Indian languages. These examinations are being conducted only in computer-based test CBDT mode.
This year, NTA has set up 852 examination centres across the country to maintain social distancing in view of Covid-19 pandemic. During the examination held in September 2020, 660 examination centres had been set up. 6,61,761 lakh candidates are appearing for this coveted computer-based entrance exam.
Online examination for BE and B.Tech will be conducted in two shifts from February 24th to 26th.
According to the National Testing Agency, the examination centre is also being fully sanitised between the two shifts. In the examination centres, face masks and sanitiser have been provided for students. The body temperature of students will also be checked with thermal guns before going to the examination centre.
Students need to reach to the examination centres two hours before the exam. The distance between two computers and between students will be maintained during the examination.
ગુજરાતમાં ધોરણ 10 અને 12ની જેમ હવે ધોરણ 9-11ની શાળાઓ શરૂ કરવા માટે રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવી છે. રાજ્યના શિક્ષણમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રસિંહ ચુડાસમાએ જાહેરાત કરી કે, 1 ફેબ્રુઆરીથી ધોરણ 9 અને 11નાં વર્ગો શરૂ કરવામાં આવશે. આ સાથે જ ધોરણ 9થી 12 સુધી ટયુશન કલાસ પણ શરૂ કરાશે. શાળા અને ટ્યૂશન ક્લાસીમાં તમામ SOPનું પાલન કરવાનું રહેશે.
ભુપેન્દ્રસિંહ ચુડાસમાએ જાહેરાત કરી છે કે રાજ્યમાં ધોરણ 9 અને 11ની શાળાઓ પહેલી ફેબ્રુઆરીથી શરુ કરાશે. તે ઉપરાંત કોરોનાની ગાઈડલાઈન પ્રમાણે ધોરણ 9-12 ટ્યુશન ક્લાસીસ શરુ કરવાની મંજુરી પણ આપવામાં આવી છે. ધોરણ 9 અને 11ના વર્ગો શરૂ કરવા માટે 8 જાન્યુઆરીએ શિક્ષણ વિભાગ દ્વારા જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલી SOPનું પાલન કરવાનું રહેશે.
જિલ્લા શિક્ષણ અધિકારીના પરિપત્રમા જણાવવામાં આવ્યું છે કે ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની કચેરીને મળેલી રજુઆતોને ધ્યાને લેતાં કોરોનાની પરિસ્થિતિમાં શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ 2020-21માં ધોરણ 9થી 12માં પ્રવેશથી વંચિત રહી ગયેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને 31 જાન્યુઆરી સુધી સ્કૂલમાં પ્રવેશ આપી શકાશે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શાળામાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવા માટેની આ છેલ્લી તક આપવામાં આવે છે.

કોરોનાને કારણે 2020ના વર્ષ માટેના IITsમાં પ્રવેશ માટેના નિયમોમાં કેટલાક ફેરફાર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ ફેરફાર 2021ના વર્ષે પણ કન્ટીન્યુ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. સૌથી મોટો ફેરફાર એ છે કે IITsમાં પ્રવેશ માટેની લઘુત્તમ લાયકાત (ઓછામાં ઓછા માર્ક) ધો.12માં 75 ટકા હતી. આ નિયમને 2021ના વર્ષ માટે પણ હટાવી દેવામાં આવ્યો છે. કેન્દ્રના શિક્ષણ મંત્રીએ સ્પષ્ટતા કરી છે કે 2020 બાદ 2021ના વર્ષ માટે (ફક્ત આ વર્ષ પૂરતું) જ ધો.12માં ઓછામાં ઓછા 75 ટકા હોય તો જ IITsમાં પ્રવેશ મળી શકે તેવો નિયમ હટાવવામાં આવ્યો છે.
વધુમાં જેઇઇ મેઇન્સ પરીક્ષા ફેબ્રુઆરી, માર્ચ, એપ્રિલ અને મે એમ 4 વખત લેવાની જાહેરાત બાદ મહત્વની જાહેરાત એ પણ કરવામાં આવી છે કે IITsમાં પ્રવેશ માટે જેનું મેરીટ ગણવામાં આવે છે એ IITs એડવાન્સ્ડ પરીક્ષા તા.3 જુલાઇ 2021ના રોજ ઓનલાઇન લેવામાં આવશે. આ પરીક્ષા ઓફલાઇન લેવાની કોઇ જોગવાઇ નથઈ. IITs ખડગપુર દ્વારા લેવાનારી જેઇઇ એડવાન્સ્ડ પરીક્ષા ઇંગ્લિશ ઉપરાંત હિન્દીમાં પણ લેવાશે.

The JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted in computer-based test mode on July 3 by IIT-Kharagpur in English and Hindi languages, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said.
In the wake of the coronavirus epidemic, 75 per cent eligibility criterion for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will be waived this year, he added.
The criteria for admissions to any programme in the IITs includes performance in Class XII or equivalent board examinations, with physics, chemistry, mathematics, one language and any other subject other than the above four.
The CBSE examinations for Class X and XII will be held from May 4 to June 10 and the results announced by July 15. The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced will be taken up thereafter.
The JEE Advanced 2022 will be conducted by IIT-Bombay and JEE Advanced 2023 by IIT- Guwahati.
“The special eligibility criterion for JEE 2021 is for those eligible candidates who registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but could not sit in the exams,” said Nishank.
These students will however have to register again for the 2021 exams and pay the required fees.
The students can use an app developed by the National Testing Agency to take mock tests for practice in the run-up to the JEE exams.
Earlier, the Minister had announced that JEE Mains would be held in February, March, April, and May every year. The JEE Main is slated to be held between February 23 and 26 this year.

Indian Air Force (IAF) on Tuesday commenced the online application process for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 01/2021 for flying branch and ground duty (Technical and Non-Technical) on its official website.
Candidates can apply for AFCAT 2021 through the official website of AFCAT — afcat.cdac.in — from today i.e., December 1, 2020. The last date to submit online applications for AFCAT is December 30.
AFCAT notification reads “Indian Air Force invites Indian citizens (Men and Women) to be part of this elite force as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.
Online AFCAT examination will be conducted on 20 Feb 21 and 21 Feb 21.”
Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination viz.
Written examination and SSB test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the written examination or AFSB Testing, it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled by the IAF.
કોવિડ-19 પેન્ડેમિક પરિસ્થિતિમાં 2020માં જેઇઇ અને નીટ જેવી રાષ્ટ્રીય પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષાઓનું શિડ્યુલ ખોરવાયું હતું, એ જ પ્રકારે હવે 2021માં પણ આ પરીક્ષાઓના ટાઇમટેબલની સાઇકલ ખોરવાઇ ગઇ છે, આમ છતાં હાલમાં ધો.12 સાયન્સ મેથ્સ ગ્રુપમાં અભ્યાસ કરી રહેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વાલીઓ માટે એલાર્મિંગ પરિસ્થિતિ આવીને ઉભી છે. આગામી ટૂંક સમયમાં જેઇઇ 2021ના ફર્સ્ટ એટેમ્પ્ટનું સમયપત્રક જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે.
આધારભૂત સૂત્રો પાસેથી મળતી માહિતી મુજબ જેઇઇ મેઇન 2021 જાન્યુઆરીમાં લેવાની થતી હતી. પરંતુ, વર્તમાન સ્થિતિને પગલે એન.ટી.એ. અને કેન્દ્ર સરકારે આ પરીક્ષા ફેબ્રુઆરી 2021ના અંતમાં લેવા અંગે વિચારણા લગભગ પૂર્ણ કરી દીધી છે. ફેબ્રુઆરીના આખરી સપ્તાહમાં સંભવિત યોજાનારી જેઇઇ મેઇન્સ 2021 પરીક્ષા માટેના રજિસ્ટ્રેશન આગામી ડિસેમ્બર 2020માં ઓનલાઇન શરૂ થશે. બીજી તરફ હજુ હાલમાં એન્જિનિયરિંગ ઇન્સ્ટીટ્યુટ્સમાં 2020ની પ્રવેશ કામગીરી ચાલી રહી છે, આવી સ્થિતિમાં જાન્યુઆરી 2021માં જેઇઇ મેઇન લઇ શકાય તેવી શક્યતાઓ નથી.
વધુમાં ગત ઓક્ટોબર 2020માં નિયત કરાયા મુજબ જેઇઇ મેઇન જે હાલમાં ઇંગ્લિશ, હિન્દી, ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં લેવાઇ રહી છે એ વધુ પ્રાદેશિક ભાષામાં લેવામાં આવશે. આ અંગે પણ અંતિમ નિર્ણય ટૂંક સમયમાં લેવામાં આવશે.

એમઆઇટીની વેબસાઇટ પર લખવામાં આવેલા આ સંશોધનનો હેતુ બોલી ન શકતા લોકોને સંચારમાં મદદરૂપ થવાનો છે. તેમાં માનવ અને કોમ્પ્યુટરને સાંકળવાની ક્ષમતા છે. ડિવાઇસની મદદથી ચેસ રમી તેના નિષ્ણાત બની શકાય છે. મશીનમાં માનવ નિર્ણય લેવામાં વધારો કરવાની ક્ષમતા છે.
અર્નવ તેનો ભાઈ શ્રેયસ અને એમઆઇટી મીડિયા લેબના સાથી સંશોધકો દ્વારા ડિઝાઇન કરાયેલા હેડસેટ ઓલ્ટરએગોએ પ્રેકિટલ લિસ્ટમાં સ્થાન મેળવ્યું છે.
સીબીએસઇના બૉર્ડના સચિવ અનુરાગ ત્રિપાઠીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ૧૦મા અને ૧૨મા ધોરણની બૉર્ડની પરીક્ષા ચોક્કસ યોજાશે અને એની તારીખની જાહેરાત ટૂંક સમયમાં કરવામાં આવશે. કોવિડ-૧૯ના વધી રહેલા કેસને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને અનેક લોકો ૧૦મા અને ૧૨મા ધોરણની બૉર્ડની પરીક્ષા રદ કરવાની અથવા એની તારીખ લંબાવવાની માગણી કરી રહ્યા છે અને એના જવાબમાં ત્રિપાઠીએ આ વાત કહી હતી.
એમણે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે પરીક્ષાઓ ક્યારે અને કઇ રીતે યોજાશે એ વિશે અમે ચર્ચા કરી રહ્યા છીએ અને ટૂંક સમયમાં પરીક્ષાપત્રક જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે તથા પરીક્ષા કઇ રીતે લેવાશે એ વિશેની માહિતી પણ જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે.
જોકે, દર વર્ષની જેમ આ વખતે પણ પરીક્ષા ફેબ્રુઆરી-માર્ચમાં લેવાશે કે નહીં એ વિશે એમણે મગનું નામ મરી નહોતું પાડયું, પણ એમ જણાવ્યું હતું કે માર્ચ-એપ્રિલમાં કોરોનાને કારણે પ્રતિબંધ લદાયા બાદ આગળ કઇ રીતે વધવું એ વિશે અવઢવ હતી ત્યારે અમારા શિક્ષકોએ પોતાની જાતને નવી ટૅકનોલોજીમાં ઢાળીને ભણાવવાનું ચાલું રાખ્યું હતું તથા થોડા જ મહિનામાં વિવિધ ઍપ્સનો ઉપયોગ કરીને ઑનલાઇન ભણાવવાની વાત સામાન્ય બની ગઇ હતી.
કેટલાંક રાજ્યોમાં ૧૫મી ઑક્ટોબરથી આંશિક રીતે શાળાઓ શરૂ કરવામાં આવી છે, પણ કોરોનાને લીધે અમુક રાજ્યોમાં શાળાઓ સદંતર બંધ જ રહી છે.
