“Guftagoo – A Helping Hand”

કોરોના વૈશ્વિક મહામારી એ સામાન્ય જનજીવન પર કપરી અસર કરી છે. ખાસ કરીને ગરીબ વર્ગનાં લોકોને ખૂબ હાલાકીનો સામનો કરવો પડી રહ્યો છે. આવા સમયે, લોકોની ફરજ બને છે, જરૂરિયાત મંદ લોકો સામે મદદનો હાથ લંબાવાની. આ જ નેક વિચાર ને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને, ભરૂચ સ્થિત સાહિત્યિક ગ્રુપ “ધ ટ્વેન્ટી ફિફ્થ હવર” એ રવિવાર તારીખ 16 મે ના રોજ “ગુફ્તગૂ : અ હેલપિંગ હેન્ડ” નામનાં ચેરિટી ઓપન માઇક નું આયોજન કરેલ હતું.

આ લોકો ઓપન માઇક સ્પર્ધામાં જોડાયા હતા.

આ ઓપન માઇક નો મુખ્ય હેતું જરૂરિયાત મંદ ગરીબ લોકો માટે મદદ રાશિ એકત્ર કરવાનો હતો. કુલ 12 કલાકારો એ સંગીત, કાવ્ય પઠન, સ્ટોરી ટેલિંગ, બીટ બોક્સિંગ અને સ્ટેન્ડ-અપ કૉમેડી ની પ્રસ્તુતિ કરી હતી. કુલ 65 પ્રેક્ષકોએ “ઝૂમ” ના માધ્યમથી આ કાર્યક્રમનો આનંદ માણ્યો હતો. સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમ દરમ્યાન, ટિકિટ વેચાણ અને અનુદાન મારફતે કુલ ૱ 21400 એકત્ર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ પૂરી રકમ “ગ્રામ વિકાસ ટ્રસ્ટ” ને આપવામાં આવશે, જેનો ઉપયોગ અંતિમ પંક્તિના ગામડાઓમાં રાશન કીટ અને ફૂડ પેકેટ આપવામાં થશે. ટીમ ધ” ટ્વેન્ટી ફિફ્થ હવર” આ સાથે જ યુવા કલાકારો અને સમાજના અન્ય વર્ગો ને કહેવા માંગે છે કે તેઓ પણ આ મુશ્કિલ સમયમાં આગળ આવે અને જરૂરિયાતમંદો ની મદદ કરે.

Guftagoo – A Helping Hand

The pandemic has brought great misery to the lives of people. Almost every sector of the society has been affected, particularly the poor and the marginal. During these tough times, it becomes imperative that a helping hand should be extended to the ones in need. With this noble thought, “The Twenty Fifth Hour”, a literature community based in Bharuch organized “Guftagoo – A Helping Hand”, an online charity show for COVID relief on 16th May (Sunday). The event featured 12 performers showcasing their talent in various fields like poetry, story telling, music, beatboxing and standup comedy. A total of 65 participants ended the event. In the course of the event, a total amount of Rs 21400 was raised by ticket sales and voluntary donations. The entire contributions would be donated to “Gram Vikas Trust” a charity working for COVID relief in 300+ villages of South Gujarat. The amount would be used to distribute food packets and ration kits to the rural areas, which are the most affected by this pandemic. With this, Team Twenty Fifth urges all the young artists to come forward and help the society in whatever capacity they can.
