Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-Madras) has introduced an online BSc degree course in Programming and Data Science. The online BSc program by IIT Madras is for those who are interested in studying Programming and Data Science. The course has been made online so that anyone can study from anywhere in India.
Require qualification
The candidate must have cleared class 12 or equivalent and should also be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program or should have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, BCom, etc.).” Those who have dropped out of a Bachelor’s degree can also apply.
Though the new BSc degree offered by IIT Madras is designed for online study mode, but when it comes to quizzes and examinations, students will need to work hard and appear in-person to clear these tests.
The Institute will also provide placement support to top-performing students. Apart from this, the IIT-Madras will provide soft-skill training as well invite them to take part in internal projects of the Institute.
Whole course fees Rs. 3.55 lac
The students also have the flexibility to exit at any level with a certificate or diploma. To successfully complete the course with a BSc degree, it may cost around Rs 3.55 lakh for general category students while the foundation course costs around Rs 32,000. However, there are fee waivers for select categories of students.
