Surat : Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the countryโs apex nodal trade body, announced the appointment of Mr. Kirit Bhansali as Chairman; Mr. Shaunak Parikh as Vice Chairman and announced the constitution of new Committee of Administration (COA) after the completion of the COA Election 2024.
Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC, said, โOur vision is to drive transformative growth for Indiaโs gem and jewellery industry through strategic initiatives, innovative projects, and collaborative efforts. From advancing flagship projects like the India Jewellery Park in Mumbai and the Gem Bourse in Jaipur to expanding our global footprint with initiatives like Saudijex in Saudi Arabia and IJEX Dubai, we aim to position India as a global leader in technology, design, and manufacturing. Together, we will strive to achieve the ambitious export target of USD 100 billion by 2047, aligning with our Honโble Prime Ministerโs vision of a Viksit Bharat.โ
Bhansali further added, “We aim to sustain Indiaโs global leadership, capitalize on domestic market potential, and advocate for favorable policies while continuing to support our artisans. To boost exports from the sector and support Indiaโs economic growth, GJEPC has identified 17 key clusters based on their size, potential, and strategic location. By nurturing these clusters, we aim to develop them into thriving export hubs.”
Mr. Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman, GJEPC, said, โI sincerely thank all the industry members for entrusting me with this responsibility and giving me the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our remarkable gem and jewellery sector. Mr. Kirit A. Bhansali, Chairman, GJPEC
Mr. Kirit A. Bhansali, is a well-known personality in the Indian diamond and jewellery industry. He is a partner in Smital Gems, a leading diamond manufacturing company based in Mumbai. With his extensive experience in the field, he has played a significant role in promoting and developing the Indian gem and jewellery industry. He is the Chairman of India Jewellery Park Mumbai (IJPM) and is a Committee Member of the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB). In the past he has also served as the chairman of the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IIGJ). Apart from his business activities, Mr. Bhansali is actively involved in various socio-political and educational initiatives. Through his leadership and vision, Mr. Bhansali has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Indian diamond and jewellery industry.

Mr. Shaunak Jitendra Parikh is 3rd generation entrepreneur and is one of the Directors of Mahendra Brothers Group of Companies who are into business of the manufacturing and marketing of diamonds and diamond jewellery. Mr. Parikh holds a degree ofBachelors of Commerce from University of Mumbai and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. After successfully establishing manufacturing and marketing of diamond jewellery for over a decade, Mr. Parikh took charge of Groupโs finances about 15 years back. He simultaneously completed an executive diploma in corporate finance from London Business School. A peopleโs man, and with a flair for creativity, he plays a vital role in running companyโs overall business, group strategic planning & decision making, managing group finances and new business opportunities. Shaunak Parikh has previously held several key positions in GJEPC, including serving as the Convener of the Banking, Insurance, and Taxation Committee, as well as the Convener of International Exhibitions.
About The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC)
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India (GoI) in 1966, is one of several Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) launched by the Indian Government, to boost the countryโs export thrust, when Indiaโs post-Independence economy began making forays in the international markets. Since 1998, the GJEPC has been granted autonomous status. The GJEPC is the apex body of the gems &jewellery industry and today represents 10600+ members in the sector. With headquarters in Mumbai, GJEPC has Regional Offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat and Jaipur, all of which are major centres for the industry. It thus has a wide reach and is able to have a closer interaction with members to serve them in a direct and more meaningful manner. JEE Main 2025 Final Answer Keys Out: NTA drops 12 questions, result soon
The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the JEE Main final answer keys for the BE, BTech exam on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main was held between January 22 and 30. In the final answer keys, 12 questions are dropped with most questions in Physics.
What steps does NTA take if questions are dropped?
For Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), if none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be incorrect or a question is dropped, then full marks will be awarded to all JEE candidates who have attempted or not attempted it.
If all options are found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. Similarly, if more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
Similarly, for numerical value questions, if a question is found to be incorrect or the question is dropped then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.

Step 1: Go to the official website โ jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the answer key link given on the home page.
Step 3: Click on the button and final answer key will be displayed on screen .
Step 4: Candidates are advised to download and save it for future references
The JEE Main results will be released on February 12 at jeemain.nta.nic.in, however the notification does not mention the time when the results will be announced. Last year, the Agency released the results at 8 am on the official website. Last year, the top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main 2024 were eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
Meanwhile, the registration for the JEE Main April application has been started at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for Main 2025 April session exam is February 25 (9 pm). The fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm on February 25.
