તા.4થી જુન 2022ના રોજ ધો.12 કોમર્સનું ગુજરાત બોર્ડનું પરીણામ જાહેર થશે. એ પૂર્વે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વાલીઓએ ધો.12 પછી ઉચ્ચ અભ્યાસ ક્ષેત્રમાં કયા કોર્સમાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવો જોઇએ એ કામ એટલું અગત્યનું છે કે તેના પર વિદ્યાર્થીઓની જ નહીં બલ્કે સમગ્ર પરિવારનું ભવિષ્ય નિર્ભર રહેલું હોય છે. ધો.12 કોમર્સને આમેય સામાન્ય પ્રવાહ તરીકે જ ગણવામાં આવે છે ત્યારે ફક્ત કાગળની ડિગ્રી આપે એવા કોર્સની જગ્યાએ એવા કોર્સમાં જોડાવું જોઇએ જેનો કન્ટેન્ટ વ્યાવસાયિક કારર્કિર્દીના ઘડતરમાં ઉપયોગી થાય.

કેમ્પસ નહીં કોર્સ કન્ટેન્ટ જોઇને પ્રવેશ લેવો જોઇએ

ધો.12 કોમર્સ પછી કોલેજ પ્રવેશ સમયે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વાલીઓએ જે તે કોલેજ કેમ્પસ કે તેમાં આપવામાં આવતી ફેસેલિટીઝીની જગ્યાએ કોર્સ કન્ટેન્ટ કે તેમાં શું અભ્યાસ કરાવવામાં આવશે એ જોઇને પ્રવેશ લેવાનો આગ્રહ રાખવો જોઇએ.

• B.Com. stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Generally a 3 years long course.
• B.B.A. stands for Bachelor of Business Administration. 3 years course.
• B.M.S. stands for Bachelor of Management Science. 3 years long course.
• L.L.B. Integrated Law course. Duration is 5 years. It is a combination of General Graduation course and Law
• B.B.S. stands for Bachelor of Business Studies. Course duration is 3 years.
• B.H.M. stands for Bachelor of Hotel Management. duration is 4 year.
• B.A. Eco. stands for Bachelor of Economics. Course duration is 3 years.
• B.F.A. stands for Bachelor of Finance and Accounting. duration is 3 years.
• B.C.A. stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. duration is 3 years.
• B.Sc.I.T. Information Technology. Course duration is 3 and 5 years.
• B.Sc.Statistics Course duration is 3 years.
• B.M.M. stands for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Media. Course duration is 3 years.

ધો.12 કોમર્સ પછી એક રેગ્યુલર ડિગ્રી અને નીચેમાંથી કોઇ એક સર્ટિફિકેશન્સનું કોમ્બિનેશન સ્ટડીનો ટ્રેન્ડ ચાલી રહ્યો છે

• Business economics:

This would cover concepts like the laws of demand and supply, law of returns, elasticity, theory of pricing under different market forms etc.

• Financial accounting:

This subject would deal with the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets and final accounts of a company, knowledge of Indian and international accounting standards, calculation of depreciation and valuation of shares and goodwill of a company.

• Cost accounting:

This would include process, job and contract costing, costing of overheads, standard and variance costing and budgetary control.
• Income tax:

This would encompass the nature and basis of charge of income tax, tax planning, tax deduction, incomes not taxable etc.

• Auditing :

This would deal with vouching, valuation and verification of transactions, assets and liabilities. It will also include studying the auditing of different organizations like clubs, hospitals and charitable concerns.

• Business finance:

This would include in its scope financial analysis as a diagnostic tool, the management of working capital and its components as well as capital structure leverages.

• Business law :

This subject would discuss the different laws in India relating to, among others, the Companies Act and the Consumer Protection Act.

• Marketing :

This subject would deal with products, pricing methods, promotion, channels of distribution, logistics etc.
